GIRLS BASKETBALL (12-18-09) – Brush 38, Yuma 23

Christine Dreitz scored the first 6 points of the 3rd quarter as Brush ran away from the Indians in Yuma moving their record to 5-1

BOYS BASKETBALL (12-18-09) – Yuma 55, Brush 51

Kolby Wahlert scored 24 points, but it wasn’t enough as Brush lost a close game in Yuma to fall to 3-2 on the season.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (12-14-09) – Holy Family 56, Brush 34

After trailing by only 1 point after the opening quarter, Holy Family outscored Brush, 41-20, over the final 3 quarters on their way to the win in Broomfield. Erin Berg led the Beetdiggers with 13 points. Brush will play in Yuma on Friday vs. the Indians beginning at 5:30 on 1010 KSIR and www.ksir.com.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (12-11-09) – Brush 51, Holyoke 33

Alicia Nichols scored 18 of her 21 points in the 1st half as Brush improved to 4-0. The Lady Beetdiggers will play in Broomfield on Monday vs. Holy Family starting at 7:00 on 1010 KSIR and www.ksir.com.

BOYS BASKETBALL (12-11-09) – Holyoke 66, Brush 57

C.J. Kukus scored 22 points, but it wasn’t enough as Holyoke closed the game on a 15-6 run after Brush tied it at 51 on 2 Joe Rosenbrock layups. The 3-1 Beetdiggers will play in Yuma on Friday vs. the Indians starting at 7:00 on 1010 KSIR and www.ksir.com.

BOYS BASKETBALL (12-8-09) – Greeley West 72, Fort Morgan 53

Greeley West overturned a 10 point 1st half deficit to win in Fort Morgan. The Mustangs fell to 1-3 on the season.

DANCE (12-5-09) – Fort Morgan finishes 9th

The Fort Morgan Mustangs dance team finished in 9th place in the 4A Poms competition from the Denver Coliseum

WRESTLING (12-3-09) – Fort Morgan 42, Frederick 34

Registering falls for Fort Morgan at this home dual were Nick Northrup (130 pounds), Caleb Silz (135), Ben Hochanadel (160), Ryan Hoffman (171)

BOYS BASKETBALL (12-1-09) – Brush 81, Akron 41

Kolby Wahlert scored 35 points, including 13 in the 3rd quarter, as Brush smoked Akron at home in the regular season opener.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (12-1-09) – Brush 45, Akron 24

Brush won their regular season opener defeating Akron at home as Christine Dreitz led the Beetdiggers with 10 points.
