GIRLS BASKETBALL (1-29-10) – Brush 64, Valley 51

Alicia Nichols led 3 players in double figures with 19 points as Brush defeated Valley in Gilcrest. Brush improved to 6-0 in Patriot League play and 13-1 overall.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (1-26-10) – Brush 59, Estes Park 48

Erin Berg paced 3 players in double figures with 13 points as Brush won at Estes Park. The Beetdiggers improved to 5-0 in Patriot League play and 12-1 overall.

BOYS BASKETBALL (1-22-10) – Brush 64, Lyons 53

Brush led by as many as 20 points and Kolby Wahlert, C.J. Kukus and Jeremy Deslauriers all scored in double figures as Brush improved to 3-1 in the Patriot League and 7-4 overall with the victory in Lyons.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (1-19-10) – Brush 50, University 31

Trailing by 7 points after one quarter, Brush outscored University, 44-18, over the final 3 quarters. Alicia Nichols led the Beetdiggers with 18 points and 14 rebounds as Brush improved to 3-0 in Patriot League play and 10-1 overall.

BOYS BASKETBALL (1-15-10) – Erie 54, Brush 48

Erie went on a 12-0 2nd quarter run and beat Brush at home. Kolby Wahlert led Brush with 20 points as the Beetdiggers fell to 1-1 in Patriot League play and 5-4 overall.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (1-12-10) – Brush 61, Platte Valley 50

Alicia Nichols scored 17 points while Erin Berg tallied 14 of her 16 points in the 2nd half as Brush improved to 8-1 with a win in their Patriot League opener in Kersey.

BOYS BASKETBALL (1-9-10) – Fort Morgan 61, Brush 49

Andrew Rebol scored 27 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as Fort Morgan won at home over Brush. Fort Morgan improved to 4-7 while Brush fell to 4-3.

GIRLS BASKETBALL (1-9-10) – Brush 71, Fort Morgan 19

Christine Dreitz scored 13 points while Alicia Nichols added 12 as Brush won in Fort Morgan over the Mustangs. Brush improved to 7-1 with the win while Fort Morgan dropped to 1-10.
